Demon Days

• The First Days/Weeks

  • Day 1: Tesla's first day was spent primarily trying to figure out what the hell happened to her. She couldn't control the seemingly random transformations or make sense of the confused voices shouting in her head. After a full day of of this, weary, Tesla passed out and knew no more.
  • Day 2: The second day, upon waking up, she found the ever present voices in her mind were calmer. That is all but one. Her inner wolf was whining at her, begging her to save the life of her brother. Tesla's form shifted and she was off...
  • Day 3: Tesla was rejected by the northern Spiritwolf pack but successfully managed to take away her dying brother and get him to an animal rescue center. She couldn't trust herself to stay in her human form around humans so she left him there and retreated to the woods.
  • Day 4: Tesla hiked for many miles until she found a secluded area far from humanity. Settling into the reality of her new life she meditated, relying on the voices in her head to teach her what she would need to know.
  • Day 5: Tesla learns bits and pieces of the lives of those whose souls fused with her own.
  • Day 6 - Weeks 2-10: Tesla learns she can control her form changes by controlling her emotional state, using music as a cheat to alter her mood she can mostly change on command and seldom changes when she doesn't want to. She had learned the life stories of all the voices in her head. She has learned that though many of them had extraordinary powers while alive they seem to have more now than any of them thought possible. Content for the time being Tesla returns for her brother, taking him from the animal center and moving him into the forest with her.
  • Weeks 11- 22: Tesla works on control. Not controlling her form changes so much so as learning and controlling these new abilities. Going so far as to throw herself off a cliff to force her ability to fly which she felt she should have and thankfully did. Tesla learns she can, if she concentrates speak to the animals around her and listen to the wind and the plants, the very rocks at times seemed to speak, though no more than faint whispers.
  • Week 23: Tesla realizes she won't be able to go much further in her training without a teacher. So she sets out into the world, looking for masters in their feilds to teach her everything from meditation to swordplay. She seeks out the artisans human, animal, or magical mattered not. All that mattered was learning.
